"Ryan Hare is a WIZARD! I met Ryan about 3 years ago. I needed an emergency setup for a series of high-profile, last-minute recording sessions, and my usual guitar tech was out of town on vacation. I was BLOWN AWAY by his superb level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Any working guitar player knows that the technician who does your setup work is being trusted with not only your precious instrument, but a piece of your soul. I play Collings Guitars exclusively and under Ryan's watchful eye and in-depth knowledge of what makes a guitar sing (or SCREAM), all of my instruments play better than ever. He's also a great guitar player, and one of the coolest cats on the planet. Ryan is the best."

"Ryan was my go-to guy to setup and repair all of my guitars and basses when we were both living in NY. He always accommodated me, no matter what weird tuning or string gauge situation I had going. Super quick turnaround, especially for tours and recording if it was an emergency."
- Ron Varod (Zvi, Kayo Dot, Sabbath Assembly, Myrkurmyr, Psalm Zero)
"Ryan worked on a nylon of mine that had some persistent fret buzz that two other guys couldn't hear (or fix). Ryan picked up on it immediately. He listened to each issue I had with the guitar, took care of every last one of them and didn't make me feel like an idiot when I'm sure I was probably over-explaining the problems. After that, he was my guy. I had him set up both of my steel string acoustics to perfection. He carefully installed the tricky LR Baggs Anthem SL and had the action better than ever. Obviously, not every player like the same setup, and when I asked if he could slightly alter the setup he'd done, he was great about it; very patient, positive and dedicated to "getting it right." What more can you ask for? Can't say enough good things about the big fella."
"Seinfeld did a routine about everybody's got a guy...a mechanic, a dentist, etc. Well, Ryan was my go-to guy (in NYC) for advice, repairs, and general good conversation. Over time, our relationship grew from dozens of questions about a repair to "you know what I mean," to coming back in a few days and what was in my head was now in my hands. He listens, he asks questions, and does great work. He is missed for his work and always treating you more like a friend than a customer."

"From the very first time I met Ryan, until the present date, he has always been very good at listening and hearing what I'm saying. Whether it be about different woods, tones, nut width, low action, acoustic and electric guitar, he always gets what I'm saying. Most of the time adds his own input, which 99% of the time yields more positive results. The bottom line is that having worked on around 14 of my guitars, Ryan always takes great care and his work is consistently spot on and perfect."
